HoneyBee is a type of hybrid
macaw called a "Harlequin Macaw," which is a cross between a scarlet
and a blue and gold macaw. There are a lot of problems with hybrids,
which I won't go into, but HoneyBee belongs to Dr. Agnes Rupley and
came to her as a rescue. I was quite pleased at how well this one
turned out. It really captures HoneyBee's spirit.
